Distracted driving makes people feel less safe

Every year, the AAA Foundation Traffic Safety Culture Index offers insight into what drivers think and feel on the road regarding their own safety. To these drivers, distracted driving is a serious issue, as about 80 percent of them tend to mention it as a concern. In fact, when looking just at those who claim they felt safer five years ago than they do now, about half of them said their growing feelings of unease were tied to distracted driving.
